Description:
Amifostine Trihydrate is a thiophosphate derivative of cysteamine; provides normal cells with selective protection against the toxic effects of cancer chemotherapy and radiation treatment.
Application:
1.Chemotherapeutic cytoprotective agents and radiotherapy protectants can selectively protect normal tissue cells during the process of radiotherapy or chemotherapy so that patients can receive continuous treatment.It is used to relieve the nephrotoxicity of anticancer drugs, prevent hematopoietic system, immune damage and other toxic side effects caused by radiotherapy, and reduce the infection associated with neutropenia.
